Thought for the day

And then one day you find,

Ten years have got behind you

No one told you when to run

You missed the starting gun…

Time, Pink Floyd

Just curious – have you ever listened to Pink Floyd? I think you are the first person I’ve met who has found these lines funny 🙂

I didn’t mean to sound offensive – but then hindsight is always like that.

If you haven’t listened to floyd yet, I would suggest borrowing “Dark Side of the Moon” from someone and listening to it when you are alone. Those guys were geniuses.

oh no offense taken. i was just surprised. i guess im really too old for my age. i’m stuck with the 90’s music and i’m only 26. i will lookup pink floyd. what’s a good song btw?

Well they were from the 80s or so. If you’ve ever listened to the Alan Parsons Project – Alan Parsons was Pink Floyd’s sound engineer.

I would strongly suggest listening to the album “Dark Side of the Moon” – it’s about the best thing you can listen to when you are down. The lyrics that I posted here are from a song in the same album.

@Today’s Poetry: I looked up your profile, and wow – you maintain an online presence in so many places! I could never do that myself.
